The COE CSW is back in Klaipeda/ Lithuania to provide support to this year’s BALTIC FORTRESS live maritime exercise in the field of force and harbour protection. BALTIC FORTRESS 2021 is linked to the exercise BALTOPS50. BALTOPS, held since 1972, is a joint, maritime-focused exercise that brings together NATO Allies and partners in order to increase interoperability and enhance flexibility among the participants.

On the 8th of June, as part of the BALTIC FORTRESS exercise, the task was to escort two incoming high value naval units and to ensure seaward and landward protection. The pictures below provide some good impressions of the successful operation. For more information: Follow us on Facebook.
